Eye issues and long term prednisone use

Will
What is worse, the vision issues associated with long term corticosteroid use or CLIPPERS? I guess the CLIPPERS is worse. The vision problems are something I'm fighting. Posterior Sub-capsular Steroid Induced Cataracts and Elevated Intraocular Pressures (early stage glaucoma). I could have been more proactive about the elevated intraocular pressures had I gone early and regularly to my optometrist. He since has provided me with morning eye drops that have reduced the pressures to a low normal but I'm afraid the damage to the optic nerve is done.

The reason I'm writing this is to encourage anyone on long term prednisone to have their eyes monitored for elevated pressures and cataractic changes.

My vision has been wonky for a couple of years and I blamed the changes in prednisone levels as the culprit, but it sadly turns out that I have a side effect of long term steroid use.
